Compani

Branding & Packaging

Compani is a pet-first café designed for people who want to relax alongside their animals, not just bring them along. The project focused on creating a warm, contemporary brand identity that feels welcoming, playful and premium. The brief covered a full visual system that could live comfortably across physical and digital touchpoints, from in-store materials to large-scale advertising.

  • I led the project end-to-end, from initial concept development through to final execution. This included brand identity design, logo creation, typography and colour palette selection, and the design of all supporting assets. I produced a cohesive suite of deliverables including a customer loyalty card, packaging, merchandise, outdoor advertising and branded ephemera, ensuring consistency across every touchpoint.

  • The brand was built around the idea of pet-first hospitality - friendly, inclusive and comforting, but still visually refined. I balanced soft, welcoming tones with sharp colour accents and bold typography to create clarity and confidence, ensuring the identity felt modern rather than gimmicky.
Scalability was a key consideration: the system needed to work just as well on small items like stickers and loyalty cards as it did on billboards and apparel. Simple layouts, strong hierarchy and a restrained colour palette were used to keep the brand flexible, legible and recognisable across all applications.

  • The final outcome is a cohesive and versatile brand system that clearly communicates Compani’s personality and values. The identity translates seamlessly across packaging, merchandise and large-format advertising, creating a strong and memorable presence both in the cafe and externally. The project demonstrates my ability to build a brand from the ground up and apply it consistently across a wide range of real-world deliverables.
