Branding & Packaging

Compani is a pet-first café designed for people who want to relax alongside their animals, not just bring them along. The project set out to create a warm, contemporary brand identity that felt welcoming, playful, and premium - without drifting into novelty or cliché.

The brief required a full visual system that could perform consistently across physical and digital touchpoints, from in-store materials and packaging to merchandise and large-scale outdoor advertising.

    • Led the project end-to-end, from concept through to final execution.

    • Defined the brand positioning, visual direction, and design system.

    • Designed the logo, typography, colour palette, and graphic language.

    • Created a cohesive suite of deliverables including loyalty cards, packaging, merchandise, outdoor advertising, and branded ephemera.

    • Ensured consistency, legibility, and quality across every application.

  • The identity was built around the idea of pet-first hospitality: friendly, inclusive, and comforting, but visually refined. I balanced soft, approachable tones with sharp colour accents and confident typography to create clarity, personality, and modernity.

    Scalability was a core priority. The system was designed to work equally well on small touchpoints like stickers and loyalty cards as on billboards, signage, and clothing. To achieve this, I used simple layouts, strong hierarchy, and a restrained colour palette that kept the brand flexible, recognisable, and easy to apply.

    Every element was designed to feel cohesive as a family of assets rather than isolated items - reinforcing Compani’s presence both inside and outside the café.

  • The result is a cohesive, versatile brand system that clearly communicates Compani’s personality and values across all touchpoints.

    The identity translates seamlessly from packaging to merchandise to large-format advertising, giving the café a distinctive, memorable presence in both physical and public spaces.

    The project demonstrates my ability to build a brand from the ground up and apply it consistently across a wide range of real-world deliverables.
