Sleep Right For All
Brand Identity, Website Design & Campaign Collateral
Sleep Right For All is a UK-based non-profit working to raise awareness of homelessness and support people experiencing housing insecurity in their local community.
The charity needed a new brand identity and digital creative direction that could work consistently across its website, campaigns, and future communications. Existing messaging relied heavily on generic charity tropes and did little to challenge public misconceptions about homelessness or motivate a younger audience to get involved.
The brief was to create a visual system that felt positive, credible and human-centred, while avoiding shock imagery or pity-led storytelling. The goal was to engage a millennial audience with the capacity to donate, volunteer, or attend events, and make it easier for them to understand the issue and take meaningful action.
-
Led the creative direction and visual identity for the charity.
Defined the brand tone, visual language, and digital design system.
Designed the homepage concept and core UI layout to set the template for future pages.
Ensured the system could be confidently extended by an in-house designer across campaigns and print.

The concept reframes homelessness as a circumstance rather than an identity. Instead of focusing on where people sleep, the design centres on who people are - their interests, skills, relationships, and aspirations - using short, human-led narratives to build empathy without sensationalism.
Visually, I balanced warmth with clarity through a restrained, modern layout system, confident typography, and purposeful use of colour blocks to create impact without overwhelm. Photography supports the messaging rather than dominating it, keeping the focus on dignity and humanity.
The user journey was structured to move from emotional connection to understanding, and then to action - encouraging users to learn more, attend events, volunteer, or donate.
-
The project resulted in a cohesive digital creative direction and homepage design that positions Sleep Right For All as a modern, ethical, and forward-thinking charity.
The visual system is flexible enough to work across web, campaigns, and print while remaining clear and easy for internal teams to apply consistently. It provides the charity with a strong foundation for future growth, helping them communicate more effectively, build trust, and engage new supporters without relying on shock tactics.
